Sorry, that was rude of me.
Simplebay, back in 1989 the Dallas Cowboys (a football team based out of Arlington, TX) had a gentleman on their team by the name of Herschel Walker. He played the position “running back” and was highly prized for his speed, agility, strength, and ability to avoid being tackled while running with a football.
The Dallas Cowboy’s new coach, a gentleman by the name of Jimmy Johnson (no, not the NASCAR driver), decided to trade Mr. Walker in 1989. The Minnesota Vikings (another football team, but based out of Minneapolis) offered an extremely large amount of draft picks and players in exchange for Mr. Walker.
It’s commonly referred to as “the trade” by those who are familiar with the sport of football because of how extremely lopsided the deal was. It played a large part in the Dallas Cowboys winning the NFL championship game, commonly referred to as the “Super Bowl” three times.
My post was an attempt at humor in referencing how unbalanced it would be for somebody to trade five first round draft picks for Mr. Anthony.
