This was announced last year when they signed the new deal. Not sure why it is news again.

i forgot about this.

First weekend still has bunches of games that are simultaneous. But they'll be on different channels, so you could see any of the games full 40 minutes.

Not that big of a deal to me. CBS has always cut away for endings and gone away from blowouts to good games. They could improve, but it wasn't a big problem. Plus you have been able to watch any game on internet for 4 or 5 years now.

Oh yeah. People bellyache for weeks about NBA or MLB playoffs televised on TNT or TBS. Get ready for a month of complaints. And good luck finding TruTV for most people.
