I can't wait to hear Obi Wan Ginobli's assessment of Game 2's officiating.

i didn't watch the game, but the playoffs are being dominated by overzealous officials who are trying to ruin the culmination of a pretty decent season of basketball, which is pretty sad considering the only competition the nba has right now is the first month of baseball, which i'm pretty sure half the country doesn't realize is going on right now.

the fact that you still seem to be in denial about the officiating is slightly shocking for a self proclaimed internet doctor.

Oh, the officiating was absolutely ****ty tonight. But unlike what was posted above, I think Indiana got the best of it by far. The offensive foul was correct, but they should have called traveling before the foul occurred. There were definitely bad calls in the Bulls favor, but the Pacers got way more IMO.

With that being said, the officials did not keep Indiana in the game. The terrible shooting and ridiculous amount of turnovers for Chicago did. Some of that you can credit to tough defense, but most of it was just bad basketball on the part of the Bulls. Thank god they dominated the boards.

Oh yeah, god bless David Stern for fixing the draft a few years ago to get us Derrick Rose, too.

Those back to back terrible calls against the Pacers killed their chance to win. Offensive foul on George followed by the no-call when Foster got pushed out.

A couple different bounces of the ball in either game and the series would be tied 1-1 going to Indiana, and the Pacers would have a ton of confidence.

NBA officiating. Instead of letting the players settle it on the court, we want attention so lets impact the game as much as possible and any time any player has any kind of emotional reaction at all let's T em up. Oh and if anybody tries to even slightly criticize us at all it's an instant fine so we don't have to worry about that.

Truly David Stern's gestapo. I hate that guy and would love to punch him square in the face.

What about the back to back BS fouls on Noah, his 4th and 5th, when replays showed both were clean blocks? And again, that offensive foul was not a bad call. He cleared out Noah with his left arm. Besides, he traveled on that play right before the offensive foul and the officials missed that.

I will NEVER feel bad about a win or complain about a loss due to officiating. I will NEVER go on another team's thread and belittle their win with officiating concerns. I've watched my fair share of basketball through the years and have gone through periods where I've dwelled on officiating. Sure it's bad at times and maybe the outcome of a game or two here and there is actually determined by the officials. But it's rare. There's no conspiracy and there's too many other factors that effect the game more. If Obi and Diet don't feel the same way, no problem. It's a free country and free message board. I just want them to know that I will be ignoring them... haha

With regard to the GAME, Indy is a very tough team and we are fortunate to be up 2-0. I don't think they're going away. I'd be ecstatic with a split in Indy and the opportunity to close them out in 5, but I'm starting to think this is going 7.

At least one of those fouls was the body, not the hand. Just because Noah didn't slap the offensive player on the forearm doesn't mean there was no foul.

A bad call can swing momentum. Maybe cost a team a few points here and there. But it's rare when you can say "if ___ call wasn't blown, ___ would have 100% sure won the game".

It's so laughable how much emphasis y'all place on the most uncontrollable part of the game.

We've seen two closely contested games in this series. Great defense and toughness on both sides. The Pacers are maybe the biggest surprise in postseason history. Frank Vogel has done an amazin job. Granger playing like an All Star. Rose struggling with his jumper but hits a few big ones down the stretch. Noah/Boozer/Hansbrough/Foster/Hibbert battling down low. Bulls catch a break with Collison injury. Korver hits two huge three's. Lots of good talking points here.

And the discussion is about whether Noah's fourth and fifth fouls were ticky tack fouls.

It's just funny.

Like I said before, I will NEVER feel bad about a win or complain about a loss due to officiating. There's way too many other factors at play.

And I don't mean to "call anybody out". Too many times these convos end up as poop throwing wars. I'd imagine most people who post on the Texags Basketball Other board watch alot of basketball and can bring good insight. But maybe we see the game through a different lens.

Sure there were some bad calls last night (like in every NBA game that has ever been played). But to sit here and say the series should be tied 1-1 or that the outcome of either game was severely impacted by the officials is so ridiculous (through my lens) that I can't even take it seriously.

Agree to disagree!

of course he has no vested interest in seeing the #1 seed in the NBA go down, whom the Spurs obviously have their sights on by playing their starters in the final game in order to try secure HCA over said team.

nope. 2 innocent bystanders. you toolshed Deluxe. wake up and smell the amazing and unobjective posts by the two morons who by comparison make SpursTalk look like Mavs fans.

Over the last 25 years, only 5 times (including this year) has a 1 seed won their first two games by single digits. Previous teams:
- 2010 LA Lakers - Won NBA title
- 1998 Chicago Bulls - Won NBA title
- 1989 Detroit Pistons - Won NBA title
- 1987 Boston Celtics - Lost in NBA finals

Yeah, I had to check twice to see if they were still playing in Indiana.

Another chance at a 3 point play. Indiana really should be evening up the series right now, instead they're choking like crazy.

Hope the Bulls can take care of business in game five and watch the Orl-Atl series go seven. I think Rose is going to need a few days off of that ankle.
