Pressure is all on the hornets tonight.

I really agreed with what Barkley said about the pressure being all on the home team to win game 3 after they have taken one on the road. couldn't be more right.

if hornets win tonight, pressure's on lakers to win game 4.

I expect Gasol to be much better and there's absolutely no chance in hell Kobe scores 11 again. If Bynum can replicate his Game 2, I feel good about regaining the home court tonight.

wow what a pass by Paul. That's huge for a super star to give a playoff ending clutch shot knowing he'd get his **** stuffed...most would force it.

Kobe with the best supporting cast and the best NBA coach in the league may not even be able to get out of the first round. Amazing. He should get way more **** than Dirk for this but he wont...because he's black and Dirk's white.

no chance the lakers get bounced in the first round. the league will not allow it.

im not worried about the lakers, even if they lose the next game. unless kobe's injury is fairly bad (he was on crutches last night)

big game tonight for the good guys. Bynum has already guaranteed a victory.

here's hoping kobe's injury isn't too srs.

Let's go LAKERS!

With the exception of last year's finals, the Lakers haven't lost a Game 5, particularly at home, in quite a while. I think the Hornets played a great, great game in Game 1 and just wanted it more in Game 4 (see: Paul, 15 rebounds). I think if the Lakers actually play hard, they'll run them out of the building. This whole flipping the switch/only playing hard until they absolutely have to thing is getting quite old though.

Pau has sucked pretty much the entire series. He really needs to get in gear too.

It's pretty sad to see Okafor and Landry taking the fight to Bynum and Gasol. I'm surprised Kobe hasn't verbally harrassed those two yet. The Lakers just seem disintrested and falling back on their talent. Kobe's ankle, Lamar's ugly wife and candy addiction, Pau's just pure softness and Artest just not having it all are all signs of a team not ready. On the other hand, NO is so hungry for success. CP3 wants to get paid, Landry wants to get paid, and the team itself has a huge "nobody believed in us" factor. I wouldn't be surprised if somehow, the Hornets start this game on a nice run and take the uneducated LA crowd out of the game. I'll be very interested.

I actually think Artest has been one of the few saving graces for L.A. He's played much better this series than he has most of the season. I'd even go so far as to say he might even be their most consistent player this series (outside of Kobe).

I also find it incredibly ironic he won the community service award this year. For a guy that is still certifiably nuts, he has done probably as decent as job as is possible of rehabbing his public image since the melee.

I can't go with Bynum when Chris Paul is out-rebounding him. I'll agree he has been much better. Would've liked to have seen more from him in the second half on Sunday.

...and he had another dunk in the second half nearly as good as that one. The ankle was obviously not a major issue. Best thing about last night's game is he only had to play like 3-4 mins in the 4th. It's just too bad they pissed away the game Sunday or else they'd have half a week of rest.

It blows my mind how well Ariza has been playing offensively; 14+ points in the 1st quarter two game in a row is nuts. Bellinilli's shot was on too (for once). I also completely agree with what the announcers said last night that if Carl Landry played against the Lakers every game he would be an all-star. Seriously, why can't that guy play that good against other teams? He's sure been a royal pain in the ass for two series in the last three years. Thank god they sat Paul at the beginning of the second after that 80% shooting first quarter. They were looking incredible up until that point.
