I just depends on what you think looks good. Bird's shot was "ugly" but he did the same thing every time and it was smooth. Reggie Miller's shot was kinda ugly for a good shooter. I think Dirk falls in with these guys... elbow out.

Steve Nash, Jeff Hornaceck (sp?)., and John Stockton all have/had "perfect" form.... from memory...

Allen is an easy pick but I like the Birds of the world, very smooth, not so mechanical.

I may be a little biased, but I love Duncan's bank shot.

Something about his form reminds me of guys in middle school or high school... Sort of a measured, deep knee bend and shooting from the chest? Almost a shot-jump...

Allan Houston has to be on the list. His gather and release always gave me the impression it was going nowhere but the bottom of the net.

Dell and Stephen Curry fall into the same category.

How in the hell can you put Paul Pierce in the 5 ugliest shots?

pierce actually has terrible form. his upper and lower half of his body practically go two directions.

Glen Rice, Mullin, and Allen Houston.

Paul Pierce's jumper looks like most people's halfcourt shots.

Glad some people mentioned Glen Rice and Allan Houston. They were pretty good.

Kevin McHale just diagnosed Dirk's jump shot. Perfect form.

kevin mchale should talk..if frankenstein were to shoot a jumper..he'd shoot it like kevin mchale...

Feet are a huge part of shooting form, and Dirk's whole lower body is awful on anything but set shots. He gets his shoulders squared but everything is else is fubared.

Can't believe I had to go all the way to the end of page 1 to see Allan Houston's name mentioned.

Between him and ray-ray, there's none prettier.

Mullin's name brings back the memory of reading the book about the original Dream Team and Magic, Michael, Pippen, Drexler & Mullin playing a game of H-O-R-S-E with the rules - no dunking and can't take the same shot twice. When Mullin got possession he would hit a long 3-pointer, move 2 feet to the right, hit it again, 2 feet to the right, hit it again.
