The Spurs still have an outside shot of winning this series, but it's clear they aren't legitimate title contenders.

It's been an amazing run and I'm thankful for that and the one last glimmer of hope that was this season. Haters will hate, but the Spurs are a class organization and what they've accomplished is nothing short of impressive.

I love the bitterness you, I would assume, mostly Mavs fans have towards the spurs. Spurs and Lakers were both the best teams of the 00s. You could make a case for either one of them. Matter of the fact is the Spurs are the winningest franchise in all of sports since the Duncan era started. That is a fact that can't be refuted.

btw, the Lakers suck and if the spare little Hornets beat them this series that will be a monumental upset in the playoffs, far more embarrassing than if the Grizz were to upset the Spurs.

I don't dispute that he takes it over the top on flopping, but the man is a gamer. He plays with the most ridiculous injuries and gives up his body on every play, even when playing with a significant injury.

He is the only Spurs player that consistently shows passion for the game every play on the court. If TP, Hill, or Jefferson had Ginobili's heart and will to win, the Spurs would be gearing up for OKC right now and trying to go for back to back titles.

THe Spurs organization will regroup and be good again. They know how to do it and will do it again.

Another note, the Gervin's Spurs were pretty good. They did not win world championships but they "knocked on the SOB" plenty of times.

Not very many players with the combination of class/dignity/ability than Mr. Robinson and Mr. Duncan.

If it's the end of an era, I thoroughly enjoyed it but I think the Spurs will regroup.

17 years old here, been a spurs fan my entire life. could not have picked a better role model than tim duncan, what an amazing guy. same goes for robinson. while all my friends were idolizing thugs i idolized duncan and ended up developing values my other friends didn't. i remember being in tears of joy after the 03 championship. this was an incredibly amazing run and gave me a lot of good times. thanks for everything tim, david, manu, pop and the rest. you are truly inspiring

Sad to see an era come to an end, but the regular season was a surprise to this life long Spurs fan. The organization will rebuild, because great organizations do. It's been a great ride and even better to do it with such class players and citizens.

Simplebay & others are enjoying the moment. I'm sure the Lakers/Mavs will never have another losing season or have to rebuild.
