After seeing several reply that a 5 game suspension is about as strict as they've seen then I can tap the breaks a bit.
However - if you watch the history of Bynum's flagrants - it looks like a consistent act of consciously throwing an elbow rib cages when players are vulnerable and in the air.
Maybe (hopefully) this 5 game suspension will work. If it doesn't then he should have the book thrown at him.
Absolutely loose cannons like Artest get a ton of flagrant fouls, but they are of a mixed variety. Bynum's are consistent. He gets mad, waits until a player leaves their feet, jumps towards them, and drives his elbow into their rib cage.
If he doesn't learn his lesson after this then he should sit for a long, long time.
