Didn't the Kobe groupies always say that Kobe would have won titles with Lebrons supporting cast?

This sucks. Kobe will be the de facto head coach now and the offense will be crap.

And for the record I always thought he was underrated as a coach but didn't handle the pressure of the spotlight well

i think it's a meh hiring. it's no dunleavy. but i would've preferred adelman.

It's a god awful hiring. I don't know if the Lakers had one more run in them or not, but the sound that you hear coming out of LA was that title window being slammed shut, locked, and boarded over.

They are a team of aging talents that might put it all together for a coach they respected. MIKE FREAKING BROWN? Lamar is going to completely check out, Artest is due for some crazy blowup, Pau didn't take criticism from the best coach in NBA history very well, and Kobe is just going to go crazy when they start losing.
