Reggie made a good point in basically saying that even though Boozer filled up the stat sheet, he still ****ing sucks.

Funny how boozer is getting hated on while he had 26 and 17. D rose had 20 and 5 assists and was barely noticeable on the court.

Boozer got lit up on D, missed so many easy buckets, missed open players, etc. Good numbers which didn't matter one bit because he was terrible every else outside of the stat sheet.

See Stephon Marbury's entire career.

that possession with Bosh matching up on Gibson, with Gibson talking **** in his face and Bosh driving on him(albeit out of control) and drawing the foul was ridiculous. Gibson looked embarrassing there.

Bulls need to play with their head and not with their heart in game 4.

Boozer is the worst finisher around the bucket. It's impressive just how bad he is. The most worthless 26 & 17 in the history of the NBA. Ugghh.

although he missed a ton of point blank shots...this is also equally true.

D-Rose had a lot of bad possessions tonight, many that didn't show up in the stat sheet. He didn't have a great offensive line considering how many he took right at the bucket, had 0 assists in the 1st half(for most of the 2nd quarter Boozer was the ONLY reason they stayed close until Deng his 2 3's late), and Rose forced a lot.

many acting like boozer was the problem tonight...and that couldn't be further from the truth. The problem was the lack of outside shooting from Chicago wing players, and too much focus on the offense to Rose. The bulls demolished Miami in game 1 without a huge night from boozer.

The reason the Heat stifled them was because they can go to 3 different stars(2 of them superstars). The bulls have 1 superstar, and no other stars. They play awesome defense, have some good spot up shooters, more depth,etc...but they don't have a 2nd super-star.

Anyone thinking boozer would be that before the season of before the playoffs is fooling themselves.

All that being said, the bulls could still win the entire series due to the defense played by both teams. Big time defensive games and sloppy offenses can result in either team wining...but they need more help from their perimeter shooters if they want a prayer of getting to the NBA finals.

As per the Heat...someone better beat them this year, or else it could be tough for a while, as they are on basically a "test run" and know what they'll need to build around their top 3 in the future to be even better.

I think Dallas poses the best matchup for them, simply because Dallas has multiple guys who can consistently shoot it, and they play smart offensive basketball. Defensively, they turn it on and off.

Bulls need to play smarter in game 4...and I hope they do. ECF deserve to be every bit as intriguing as the WCF have been.

Good post J Peterman.

The good news right now is we only need a lackluster performance from Miami in game four to tie the series and regain homecourt advantage.

The bad news is that if Miami continues to play this well, we can't beat them.

We had our chance to take control of the series in game two and blew it. Now Miami has essentially taken the ball out of Rose's hands. Noah has been a non-factor since game one. Boozer played well and kept us in it, but like a previous poster pointed out, his missed opportunities around the basket almost exceeded his makes.

And we're really missing Korver down the stretch to help open some lanes for Rose. But Korver can't play so long as James and Wade are both on the floor or they'll abuse us.

It'll be interesting to see what happens. If we can play a little better on D and Miami comes out cold in game four, we can still win. I haven't given up hope yet, but I'm bracing myself for the worst.

And given these last two games, it's hard to not brainstorm potential Dwight Howard to the Bulls trades... haha

thinks looked bad early for Chicago as the Heat were up 4-0 and D-Wade had a breakaway dunk.

Ever since he shanked the dunk, the entire game has changed.

Chicago getting out in transition, and making shots. Outhustling the Heat to every ball, and playing with confidence.

Very intriguing if they can keep this up throughout the game.

Chicago is completely inept on offense. Rose is forcing it and when he does trust his teammates they are missing wide open shots. Not looking good right now.

neither team wanting to assert themselves. Both teams go on big runs then completely fall apart.

For Miami, it was the typical switch back to Wade and James iso's deep into the shot clock.

New game at 40-40, will be interesting to see how the final 1:50 shakes out.

You are right peterman, the iso stuff kills Miami's offensive rhythm. Bulls have to hope for more of that.

2 point chicago lead at half. nice job by them to get back in it.

Miami needs to go back to James running a point forward and looking for Bosh in the 2nd half. The bulls definitely did their best when Bosh went to the bench. I expect them to go back to letting Lebron roll off the screens, make a move and seek out Bosh like they did in G3.

For the Bulls, they simply don't have the offensive options, and just need to keep the intensity and tempo high. Continue to force turnovers. If Deng keeps shooting well that will help tremendously. And FINALLY D Rose starts going to the hoop without hesitation. Interesting that it happened just after he got his **** stuffed by Lebron. If he wants to be at his best, he has to continue to force the issue right at the hoop and either finish or dump it off right at the bucket.

Big 3 by Rose. Mike Miller just doesn't have the touch with those injured hands.

LeBron has to run the point and be the focus the entire 4th quarter if the Heat want a chance. D Wade has been off so far, and the Bulls have clamped down on Bosh.

LeBron was forcing the issue those last few series up the floor.

Wonder if DWade is going to take over after getting plenty of rest.

Hope this one goes down to the wire.

and yeah...Korver has been awful.
