Identify yourselves and produce your credentials. I cannot engage frontrunners this series, as i will be too emotionally invested.

That being said, I would like some thoughts on the upcoming series from actual heat fans (as opposed to LBJ d riders)

my message to all heat fans, lbj d riders, and dwayne wade is this:

DIE! DIE! DIE!!!!!!

I hope Dirk whips your ass just like he did to durant, kobe, and aldridge and shoves a stick up pat rileys ass. if we somehow win this will be far sweeter than any other dfw sports accomplishment. eff the heat and go mavs.

I'm not a Heat "fan" per se, more of a fan of the game. But I do find it amazing to watch LeBron and Wade when they are playing at the highest level.

I also find it amusing that everyone in the sports world was crapping on their season when the Heat were slow out of the gates, even though some of their key role players have suffered injuries throughout the season. During a few losing streaks in the regular season, people were laughing and saying how the Heat were a joke, LeBron was soft and unclutch, and the South Beach experiment would implode. Part of me will smile if LeBron, Wade and Bosh hoist the NBA trophy when all is said and done.

As others have mentioned previously, this was supposed to be a test run year for the Heat as they learn to play together and find out what pieces they need around them. Not a bad test run if they win the whole thing. I think they are only going to get better over the next few years, so the NBA better watch out and quit hatin'...

And for the record, I thought LeBron was a ****** for The Decision and the way he shat on the city of Cleveland. But the guy can ball...

not a heat fan, actually not a fan of any team in the nba. Big fan of Lebron. I find it hilarious that he's on a team as hated as they are due to one idiotic media appearance(although it may turn out right).

Finals should be very interesting

Nobody on this board is a Heat fan and that includes me. That said,

I've been a Lebron defender all along though... not because he's a good guy... we know already that he isn't. However, I think he's right up there with Tim Duncan as far as being a top notch star in the NBA who just 'gets it' on the court in the past 15 years or so. He doesn't get credit for it though because he's young and kind of 'child star'-ish.

I want the Heat to win a title this season because I think the NBA is a better league when you have a dynasty at the top of it... and the Heat dynasty is inevitable in my opinion. Might as well start it now since you know the Mavs won't start one w/ Dirk at this point in his career.

I enjoy watching basketball more than any one individual team, but I've been a heat fan since Harold Minor was the next Jordan (yeah right) and John Salley and even Steve Smith out of Michigan state. And since he came into the league I've been a Dwayne wade fan. If you need more than that, I have family in Florida.

There are no real Heat fans. Went to a game in Miami during December. The arena had MAYBE 5,000 people in it.

Anyone that calls themselves a Heat fan is riding Bron Bron's wagon. Heat fans are as t-shirt as t.u's fans.

This coming from a mavericks fan base that was non-existent from before 2006 then again from 2007 until about 3 weeks ago.

No I just find it sad that a grown man has to call everyone that disagrees w/ him stupid. It's sad, but I guess that's all you have. I won't take that away from you bud. Keep posting away...What bothers me more than your opinion is the fact you somehow stole an AG TAG giving the impression you're one of us...

Wife has family in Miami. I've been to 2 games this season in Miami and I'm calling BS on this. They've been the hottest ticket in town there all season. I went to a Monday night game in November when they played Indiana. They were stuggling pretty mightily at the time and the arena was packed to the gills.

Miami Heat not filling seats up is well documented and a known joke in the NBA. Maybe it was more than 5,000 but that arena holds around 16,000 and it was less than 1/2 full in the 2nd quarter.

Here is a pick from when the Lakers (big draw wherever they play) came to town this season.
