I didn't say that... BUT this is what almost any NBA arena looks like during a regular season game coming out of halftime. A grainy cell phone pic doesn't do much to support this argument.
I'm not going to deny that they are a late-arriving crowd, but the crowd wasn't later than a typical Laker crowd... arriving mid-1st quarter or so. For the game though, the arena was packed... for a crappy game on a crappy night. The idea that you initially laid out that nobody comes to games in Miami is ridiculous though.
As far as attendance goes, pre-Dirk, Mavs were one of the WORST attendance drawers in the league for years... bandwagon as Miami might be, if Dallas sucked next season, bye-bye sell-outs.
