Which of your championship teams would you consider the best?

How would you rank your best teams and your teams that didnt win it all?

Thanks

The best team would be '03, IMO. Timmy, Manu, Bowen, Robinson, Parker, Jackson, Claxton, and Kerr is a pretty deep rotation. I would then put '07 next. Then '05. Then '99.

2004 was probably the best team that didn't win it. Funny enough, I felt that before this season, this is one of the deepest teams we've ever had. But Duncan and Manu's decline, as well as a lack of defensive identity was very apparent.

03 had all the talent from the different eras on it, but Robinson, Parker and Ginobili were all at their lowest in terms of effectiveness in their entire career, while Duncan was at his highest.

99 will always be my favorite, and I think the best.
Robinson/Perdue
Duncan/Rose/Kersey
Elliott/Jackson
Elie/Kerr
Avery/Daniels

'99 was really strange. You had a team that was just clicking on all cylinders. The only reason why I rank that team last is because that team had no chance of sustaining success. Ellie and Avrey were at the twilight of their career, Jackson ended up being a bust, and Malik didn't wasn't really a contributor yet. I think it was a team that definitely benefited from a shortened season. Not to say it was a fluke by any means though.

I'm more of a Rockets fan, but I had the most fun watching the '99 series. It may not have been my smartest move, but it sure was fun to root for the Spurs in the middle of a NYC Hooters.

'99 played the best defense, that's for sure.

99 also absolutely dominated the best teams.

They took out Minnesota that had
Kevin Garnett
Terrell Brandon
Joe Smith
Anthony Peeler
Bobby Jackson

Then swept the Lakers featuring:
Shaq
Robert Horry
Glen Rice
Kobe Bryant
Derek Harper
Derek Fisher
Rick Fox

Then swept the Jailblazers with:
Arbydas Sabonis
Jermaine ONeal
Rasheed Wallace
Brian Grant
JR Rider
Damon Stoudamire
Jim Jackson
Walt Williams
Greg Anthony
Stacey Augmon
Kelvin Cato

Then they played against:
The Ewing Theory
Larry Johnson
Latrell Sprewell
Marcus Camby
Allan Houston
Kurt Thomas

The Spurs went 15-2 in those playoffs and they were one of the best defensive teams ever.

These responses are kinda what I thought.

Bill Simmons calls your 2007 team your best championship team......while ive always felt it was your weakest team.

My thinking is that your 2004 and 2006 teams were better then your 2007.

Ive personally thought your 2005 and 1999 teams were your two best
