Maybe this is the Mavs' version of "going thug" on James and Wade. No hard fouls, but viral phlegm.

He's coughing all over the microphone now. Brilliant!

I'm watching Dirk in press conference right now. Coughing up phlegm is not far off. He sounds awful.

He looked horrible at the PC.

In the biggest game of his 13 year career, he was sick. If there were ever a sports injustice, that was it. That was an Emmitt Smith-esque display of toughness last night. DFW has had a lot of great stars over the years, but if you had to pick one for each of the 3 sports (I don't follow hockey), it would be tough to go against Dirk, Emmitt, and Nolan. I guess Pudge would also be a good pick for the Rangers, or Staubach for the Cowboys.
