This is probably a stupid question, but why do the players constantly look down. Are they reading something? Thanks!

Probably don't like answering questions. The tables they use don't have prompters or anything. Also, they use super hot lights in those rooms, so I bet they hate that as well.
Most of the time they have the box score on the table in front of them.
They are reading a stat sheet from the game.
Yes, the are reading something. They have stat sheets on the table. They always look down to read them during answers.
Yep. Dirk just looks down though as a part of his normal mannerisms.
I love the way Dirk grabs the mic and sits back to answer his questions. Looks like he gets relaxed and comfortable.
I think some of you would gladly slurp on Dirk under that table.
They'd have to wait for you to get done with your Wade/Lebron spit roasting.
