Assuming you don't trade up or down, at 26 I'd want the Mavs to get either Josh Selby, Nikola Mirotic, Kenneth Faried, or Jeremy Tyler...

I would like them to get Kyrie.

I would be excited if Selby fell to the Mavs. Kids stock was hurt so bad by that one year that I don't feel does him justice. We'll see, but I think he will end up being a good one.

I think Selby would be a steal for the Mavs that late... but i'm betting they'll go with a foreign guy and let him develop overseas for a few years.

Bismack will be a huge bust. If the Rockets take anybody from across the pond it will be a bad pick. They need to go after Tristan Thompson.

I think it's safe to say that outside of one player, maaaaybe two, everyone in this draft will be a bust. The worst part is that probably three players max have a ceiling of "All-Star" - again, a ceiling.

To me, Bismack and Thompson have an equal chance of busting. Might as well pick the guy that has more potential. You know what you're getting in Thompson. He's Carl Landry-lite.

If Los Spurs stay at the end of the first round, either stash a Euro or Jimmy Butler.

Does not compute.

Right now Bismack would be the worst offensive player in the league, and it wouldn't even be close. Thompson has a greater skill set than Carl Landry and he can play D against a big 4.

If you look at this drafting hoping for all-stars you're in trouble, but that certainly doesn't mean that most guys will bust. This is a draft full of potential role players, 4th 5th and 6th men who may not be a first option, but can certainly help a team compete. Drafting late can be more of a blessing because the players from 8-30 aren't all that different in my mind.

Somebody hasn't seem Eric Dampier or Ben Wallace play in awhile.

What exactly does Thompson bring that Biyombo doesn't? Offensively, both of them do nothing but dunk and rebound (not saying that is a terrible thing). Thats it. The difference between the two is that Biyombo is much faster and moves a lot better.

The Rockets as it stands are one of the best offensive teams in the NBA. I'm sure Bismack being unable to contribute a couple points here and there is really going to hurt them. They suit up Hasheem Thabeet for crying out loud.

Thabeet Participated in 2 games last year for a total of 4 minutes. He was not a part of any rotation.

Thompson shows considerably more skill around the basket than does Biyombo. He is a much safer pick and the upside on these two isn't much different.
