Sacramento had the pick via the 3-team trade with Milwaukee and Charlotte that was announced this afternoon. I guess it hasn't been finalized yet.

If the Kings go into the season (if there is one) with Jimmer, Tyreke, Salmons AND Thornton my head will explode.

Well, they did say that Marcus is trying to be a 3.

Regardless the Rockets really couldn't do much. We need an elite player, there really wasn't an elite player in this draft. We don't need depth, but that is what we were stuck with.

For those wondering, the A&M laptop in the Utah Jazz draft room belongs to Brian Zetter. Zetter had been assistant athletic trainer/equipment manager for Utah for the past five years. Has a BS in biomedical science from A&M (CO '93) and an MS degree from A&M.

I have to believe the Rockets took Marcus to move him to the 3, he's undersized for the 4 in the NBA and doesn't rebound well enough but if he can make the move to the 3 and is able to guard that position, I really like the pick

I think he's a solid scorer

He also was a value at the 14 pick

If Morris is undersized at 6-9, 235 then so are all of PFs the Rockets have currently on the roster.

Morris is a PF all the way on offense. He could guard some of the slower SF in the NBA, but he will mostly be at PF.

Hamilton would make sense for the Rockets since Budinger is the only true SF they have.
