So I am keeping the book for a game this past week. A foul is called on Team B. Player from Team A continues shot and the bucket is good.
The lead official (team of 2) says that the basket is no good and he points to the floor, he then reports the violation to me at the table. Okay, so as I am filling out who the foul was on for Team B, the other official sets up 2 free throws for Team A.
Team B's and Team A's head coaches both go ballistic, as B thought it should be on the floor and under the basket and A was trying to figure out how the shot was no good, yet his player was getting 2 free throws.
The lead official stated, "He was fouled in the act of shooting, but before he actually shot."
Huh?
