Apparently Stern has set the asking price at Lebron, Wade, Bosh, and 2 First round picks.

Seriously though. I thought both the Laker/Rockets and Clippers offers were extremely reasonable. Stern is like a fantasy commissioner gone crazy with the veto trade button.

I guess they were serious about Eric Bledsoe. Damn, wouldve been fun to watch the Clips with CP3 in a weak Western Conference.

Stern thinks the nba will make more money by selling the team with Chris Paul on it. But I don't understand this reasoning if Paul is just going to leave anyways.

how about cp3 to the rockets for the whole team...... he can play 1-on-5

I doubt it since the only reason the NBA bought the team was to try to find an owner that would keep it in New Orleans. Larry Ellison (Oracle CEO) tried to buy the Hornets and move them to San Jose but the NBA stepped in at the last minute.

At the end of the day I bet they are still gone in a year or two though, especially without CP to help sell tickets. People in NOLA love the Saints (at least when they are winning) but the Hornets have always struggled there; the market is just too small/poor.

just contract new orleans and 20 other teams..the only ones that matter are..

the la teams..
chicago..
miami..
boston..
the knicks..
the mavs..
the spurs..

put durant and other stars on one of those 8 teams and move the rest into the ndl...
