Kobe Bryant's wife has filed for divorce .

Vanessa Bryant filed legal docs Friday afternoon, citing "irreconcilable differences."

Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ ... Vanessa -- who stuck by Kobe after he was charged with sexually assaulting a Colorado woman in 2003 -- decided to end the marriage because she believes Kobe has been unfaithful ... again.

Yep. Now that Kobe is at the end of his career, not a lot else to make for him.

And Kobe should fire all his advisors that didn't make him sign a prenup.

I heard a story many years ago regarding Kobe/Vanessa and his advisers.

When he got married his agent at the time told him to get a prenup, he wouldn't. The agent/adviser dropped Kobe as a result...10 years ago. I wonder if this is true or not.

Maybe David Stern will void this divorce action for "basketball reasons."

Always smart to divorce a pro athlete a couple years before the down side of his career.

The divorce settlement:

Legal experts said Vanessa Bryant will probably receive at least $75 million in addition to ongoing spousal and child support.

According to property records review by The Times, three mansions in Newport Beach's upscale Newport Coast community have recently been placed in Vanessa Bryant's name. They are:

--An estate in the Resort at Pelican Hill was recently under construction. Property records peg its worth at $11.2 million. Bryant's agent, Rob Pelinka, was the listed owner until he signed transfer papers Dec. 15.

--A home worth $2.9 million was owned jointly by the couple since 2003. Vanessa Bryant signed documents to transfer it into her name Dec. 14.

--A home valued at $4.7 million was transferred to Vanessa on Dec. 30 from the Kobe Bryant trust.
