I was dead set against it when it happened, but I always believed if we won a title that all bets are off. However, with the timing of Kidd's contract expiring (Devin has one year left) that could be a huge cog in getting Deron and/or Dwight next off-season, making Cuban look even smarter for doing the deal. If we can land both guys AND resign Kidd for the minimum it's a triple whammy.

He is still trying to play it off like he isn't a ****ing morong.

Said it was a great move when it happened and was exactly right as usual.

I'm not saying getting those two guys will happen, there is more salary construction that would have to go into it, and I'm sure both would have to LeBron/Wade/Bosh it and take a little less than the max, but the possibility does exist if we can trade either Trix or Big Wood (and amnesty the other). The trade would be made easier of some team out there really wants Roddy, whose salary we would have to move on anyway.

I do think Kidd wants to still play and that he'd take the minimum to play alongside those guys. I like the look of having two pure point guards on the floor at the same time, especially when one can score like D-Will can. Also, that would allow us to really limit Kidd's minutes so he would be fresher for the playoffs. For now I know it's a pipe dream, but dammit it's my pipe dream..

What team is Harris playing for? Have head about him lately.
