Is there anyone on here who actually likes this guy? He's one of the few people that I would probably actually punch in the face if I saw him on the streets. **** consequences. Every time I look at his ugly mug I am consumed with rage. Him and Brittany Griner would make a beautiful couple.

he's the perfect example of the guy you love to have on your team but hate if he is on the other team. Love watching guys like that.

This game is a great game. Also on display are some of the best "yellers" and "flailers" in the game today.

I don't think there are 2 better players than Rose or Wade at being able to awkwardly whip their head back or contort their body in some random way on very little-to-no contact in the act of shooting. They're the best because it usually looks legit in real time. Credit both of them, it fools the refs nearly every time.

Battle of the missed FT's down the stretch.

Rose has historically had one of the lowest free throw rates among super stars in the league, so your assessment is surprising. John Hollinger even wrote an article last year saying that the biggest thing holding Rose back is that he doesn't get to the free throw line.
quote:
Against the elite, he's completely outclassed in this category. Westbrook gets to the line nearly nine times a game, or once for every two field goal attempts; this difference accounts for nearly the entirety of Westbrook's advantages over Rose and places him comfortably ahead in TS% and PER. Paul takes nearly as many free throws on half as many shot attempts. Williams also shoots dramatically less than Rose but gets to the stripe nearly seven times a game. Even Tony Parker -- a slasher, whose M.O. is to sidestep the hit and make the shot instead -- gets to the line at a higher rate than Rose.

I'm not trying to say Rose is still bad at this, he's gotten better... but, he's not 2nd best in the league at drawing fouls.

I like Noah. Why wouldn't you like someone who plays the game with passion and like he actually cares? It's a breath of fresh air.

he had 14 attempts today, and many were complete bogus calls due to his ability to react to nothing, or his own initiated contact. Actually some of the non-calls showed more contact than the foul calls.

I'm not saying he's a flopper or anything, or that he always does it, but he is really good at reacting in a believable way. Didn't mean to slight him or even sound like he does it alot. He's not in Dwade territory in that regard yet. Dwayne still knows how to slide 8 feet backwards across the court after a missed jumper like no other. And I would agree that Rose needs to initiate more contact and get the line more overall.

There was a really funny D-Wade moment I think in the third quarter yesterday. He came off a screen and shot about a 22 foot jumper while wildly kicking his legs and falling backwards. Hamilton was a good 2-3 feet away from him and there was no contact whatsoever. But Wade looked at the official like "where's the call"?

Wade and Rose are probably two of NBA's best at beating their man off the dribble and getting to the rim. Because of that they draw alot of contact and both have their ways of selling a call. As a Bulls fan, obviously I hate Wade's falling down antics. But I also realize that if we don't want him drawing cheap fouls, we need to keep him out of the lane.

And as much as I don't mind when he gets calls around the basket, I HATE when he jumps into someone, shoots a wild 20 footer and gets the call. That's what separates Rose and Wade right now, IMO.

He was the only one that actively/publicly called out LeBron James and Kevin Garnett for all the dumb **** they do in-game, so he's alright with me. Hated him when he was Florida, though.
