I admit that I rushed to my phone and picked up Ramon Sessions while watching the Dallas/LA game last night. He's going to be a fantasy stud to close the year, methinks. My only issue is that I have too many point guards. Lowry, Calderon, Jrue Holliday, Nate Robinson, Jason Kidd, and now Ramon Sessions. Obviously, I can use a couple of those towards SG, so it's ok.

My forwards are Iggy, Javale, Joe Johnson, Noah, Gortat, Deng, Varajao, and I just recently gave up on Bogut and dropped him.

I'm in 2nd place because I'm dominating all oof the defensive stats and assists, but I will keep eroding my advantage in blocks and rebounds if Varajao doesn't come back soon. Bogut is obviously impossible to replace.

Mike Brown is in a tough spot. to start Sessions or not. The Lakers bench has been atrocious before Sessions. now they're extending leads against starters

The biggest Laker improved because of Sessions? Matt Barnes. absolutely killing it with a free flowing, transition offense with ball movement. huge improvement there too.

Sessions should play no less than 30mins a night, and should be in the game during crunch time. But he may continue to come off the bench, even though Blake has proven to be more effective there than a starter.

The only question is, if Brown starts Sessions, will the bench go back to being shiit. In a perfect Laker world, Sessions and Barnes would start over Blake and Peace, and those two clowns would actually contribute to the bench (a sentiment experimented with at the beginning of the year)

in 4 games with the Lakers Sessions has averaged:
12ppg, 6asts, 55% FG, 43% 3ptFG

and he hasn't played more than 30mins in a single game yet.

I think he could be a guy who comes off the bench, leads the 2nd team, and closes games much of the regular season, but when you get the playoffs and the bench shortens and you're either playing against Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, Tony Parker or Nash/Lowry/Conley/etc. I just don't see how the Lakers could play Steve Blake very many minutes at all.

Per-36 this season, Sessions has put up 15.4 points and 7.6 assists.

Good thing for the Lakers that they play in a weak a$$ division. Will most likely be the only team to make the playoffs based on how the Clips are playing as late.

Still doesn't change the fact that the Lakers have one of the worst benches in the league.

I disagree. I think the Lakers are getting complacent and the Grizzlies have the advantage of playing a game for the second night in a row. They are in a better rhythm.

But the Grizzlies are missing their best player and the Lakers are at home. They have no excuse to not completely blow out the Randolph-less Grizzlies.

Randolph is playing. haha

Even more reason for the Lakers to have no excuse. His rhythm must be off from the injury.
