Bynum is imploding which is all that is needed to sink the Lakers ship.

On the "road" vs the Clippers' most important game of the season

Bynum
36 points on 20 shots, 8 rebounds, 4 blocks, +8 in 39mins

Bynum, please keep imploding. Thank you Dc for confirming you are indeed an idiot.

Also....
Sessions
16pts, 8rbs, 7asts and the most important shot of the game.

Lakers win.

wrong. sessions hit it, but it grazed jordan's leg on the way out. was an easy call from where the ref was. i watched it in slow motion.

For all intents and purposes, Bynum played well last night. He's very talented and a good player.

But from my perspective, I would never want Bynum on my team, ever. Perfect example was last night, I believe it was Nick Young or Foye hits a 3 with time winding down in the 3rd quarter. Long pass to Bynum who is standing in the paint or maybe just outside. Basically just the area his entire game is built upon. He could have made a move to the basket and drawn a foul. Instead he dribbles to the corner and jacks up a 3 at the buzzer. Presumably just to show he's defiant of the coach and promised he would take more 3's after he got benched.

Very talented, but he's a complete dunce.

In regards to Sessions possibly becoming a top 10 PG, please have a look at these stats:

Player A:
10.8ppg, 8.2apg, 4.2rpg, 34% 3pt, 36% FG, 80% FT in 34mpg

Player B:
14ppg, 7.3apg, 3.8rpg, 55% 3pt, 52.4 FG%, 77% FT in 31mpg

Player C:
12.5ppg, 11apg, 4.9rpg, 23% 3pt, 45% FG, 59% FT in 37mpg

Player D:
12.9ppg, 7.0apg, 2.5rpg, 35% 3pt, 43%FG, 84% FT in 36mpg

Sessions numbers are comparable to players you think are easily better than him. and he's only been in the Lakers system for 12 games.

As of right now, here's the top PGS in no order:

Rose
Westbrook
CP3
Nash
DWill
Parker
Rondo

Then:
Irving
Lawson
Sessions
Rubio

Curry is a big question mark due to his mounting injuries. as is Irving. can't be in the top 10 if they never play. Evans PG status is debatable, Conley gimme a break.

i'll also make this statement:

as of right now-

Sessions + Pau + less salary > > > > > CP3

Lakers got lucky stern vetoed it

-Curry has had issues this year, but LA would ship sessions out for curry in a heartbeat
-No GM in this league takes sessions over kyrie or Rubio, not a chance
-Lowry > sessions

What does sessions do that conley doesn't doesn't to make a comparison laughable? Conley is a topline defender and can hang with sessions offensively

The lakers got sessions for a pick + Luke walton

He's a nice fit in LA, and makes them a much better team, but GTFO acting like he's an top end PG
wacarnolds

And LOL at saying him and kyrie are equal....when kyrie stepped on the court as a 19 yr old and put sessions on the pine

If you just want to throw raw stats out there with no context, Player E is better than all those guys listed, so bump sessions down another spot
15ppg, 6ass, 3reb, 45%/31%/80%, 27min

But I guarantee you wouldn't say player E is better than sessions, so your argument is invalid

Sessions has the 4th best 3pt % in the league
Simplebay

Also...its not just about scoring or assists. Its about types of shots created. Sessions doesnt demand the ball, speeds up the game (look at the lakers ppg since he got here), and has the size and speed to guard most pg and shooting guards.

Which is why i listed him as the 12th best PG by efficiency. And he wasnt even starting for a lot of those stats. So there's lots of room for improvement.
wacarnolds

You're confusing how bad fisher was (and how much better sessions is than fisher) with how good sessions is in a vacuum.

No GM takes sessions over...
Rubio
Wall
Kyrie
Curry

And he is a toss up at best with...
Lowry
Lawson
Conley
Tyreke
Simplebay
How long do you want to ignore this user?
AG
as of right now, i agree with you. but there's no arguing with his numbers. this is a double edged sword.

on the one hand, he could get worse because the sample size with the Lakers is so small, it could just be a fluke

on the other hand, with full season(s) and practice time, more consistency and familiarity with the personnel, etc....his numbers, productivity and efficiency could get even better. Which is why I said could.

Conley

Stats disagree with you. Hell, look at the updated efficiency rankings, he's already a top 10 PG:

quote:

1. C. Paul
2. D. Rose
3. R. Westbrook
4. S. Nash
5. D. Williams
6. K. Lowry
7. R. Rondo
8. T. Parker
9. J. Wall
10. R. Sessions

11. T. Lawson
12. K. Irving
13. J. Jack
14. B. Jennings
15. T. Evans
16. S. Curry
17. J. Calderon
18. M. Conley
19. R. Rubio

23. J. Holliday
24. D. Collison

Are you arguing he's a top-10 PG or his PER is top-10? Because those 2 are not the same thing.

And you say stats disagree with me about him being a toss-up with Lowry, when Lowry has a higher efficiency this year, and every year before. And Conley has had a higher efficiency the past couple of years.

I can't figure out if you're trolling or just stupid.
Simplebay
How long do you want to ignore this user?

right now i would absolutely take him over any of your "toss ups at best"

also, im not counting the previous couple years where he bounced around. im counting time on the Lakers (hence my double edged sword point)

Well hell, if you, a laker homer, would take sessions over those other guys, that settles the argument and he is clearly the better player.

And LOL at using an 11 game sample size over 2,3,4 years worth of data.

i've already acknowledged the sample size.

which is why i am not saying he is a top 10 PG right now.

the 2,3,4 year sample size suggest he's a top 25 PG. in a backup role. on crappy teams. with limited minutes.

that isn't exactly the most accurate sample size either, given the current production.

Yeah, I would prefer to look at 11 games over ~300 games if it supported my false beliefs, too.

That's why I'm glad I bought Jeremy Lin HOF tickets right away. Cuz I saw everything I needed in those first 11 games.
Simplebay

Lin's numbers are not as good as Sessions in expanded or recent stats.

but i appreciate your hyperbole

These statements are lot more powerful when noone can lookup facts to dispute it. Unfortunately, that isn't the case here.

Take a lap, bud.
Simplebay
How long do you want to ignore this user?

i know, i love stats. unfortunately for you, yours are misrepresentative

how about these stats, bud.

Sessions
14.0ppg, 7.3apg, 3.8rpg, 2.8 TOpg, 52% FG, 55% 3pt, efficiency 18.1 in 31mpg

Lin
14.6ppg, 6.1apg, 3.1rpg, 3.6 TOpg, 45% FG, 32% 3pt, efficiency 14.9 in 27mpg

Sessions with the Lakers > > > > > Lin

and, Lin is done for the year.

im using the time frame Sessions been with the Lakers. The entire point and entirely what was being discussed.

If you're going to go back to efficiency, you have to count Lowry as a top 10 PG who is clearly better than Sessions.

I was actually worried about the Lakers being a threat in the west until I've watched their last few games. I am going to enjoy the playoffs this year.

Houston wins in LA. Bynum continues his implosion by getting his second consecutive ejection.

Rockets are 10-16 from the 3 point line. If the Lakers dont shore up their 3 point D, the Spurs will eat them alive.

Also....worried about kobe's shin and sessions shoulder. Both definitely looked hobbled tonight
