NCAA tournament or NBA game?

If you are a fan of an NBA team, and had the choice, have you watched the NCAA tournament or your team's NBA game?

I noticed that tomorrow night's championship game is being shown at the same time as several NBA games that have fans on here (Mavs, Bulls, OKC, Rockets, Grizzlies) .

What will you watch and has it been that way for most of the tournament?

With the compressed schedule this year, this year I've hardly watched the NCAA tournament (and my bracket sucking hasn't helped).

NCAA every time. It is do-or-die. If March Madness was opposite NBA playoffs then it might be back and forth.

NBA game easily. College basketball is awful.

But if I remember correctly, doesn't the NBA typically not schedule games on the Monday of the championship game? I guess the compressed schedule forced them to this year.

NBA no doubt. College basketball is painful to get through

College Basketball is great when your school is playing, but for entertainment purposes I definitely prefer NBA.

NBA.

I'll check in during the 2nd half if NCAA game is close. And of course the ending to see what Nantz says and one shining moment.

Basically what everyone else has said. I do enjoy watching Kentucky play defense, though.

NBA. Can't watch college unless my team is involved or there is some magical Cinderella angle.

Does anyone know if the ratings have been impacted at all by the NBA games?

Although it is hard to base off the past because of the different platforms and stations that are used this year plus the fact that you have powers playing in the Final Four and not Butler.

I should ask my wife this question. She attended KU and grew up a huge KU fan, but ever since we moved to OKC 3 years ago, she's become a huge NBA fan and doesn't really care for college hoops anymore. Saturday's KU game was the first tourney game she's watched all March.

We'll see what she decides tonight.

If you believe anything about officials impacting the game, you can tell her to watch the Kansas game.

OKC is 10-0 with when Kenny Mauer, Curtis Blair, or David Guthrie have done one of their games this year. Last year in the regular season, OKC was 7-0 with Mauer or Guthrie.

This year, the Grizzlies are 1-5 with any of those officials reffing.

I don't have any reason to believe that trend changes tonight.

(And yes, I'll watch over the NCAA game because of the quality of play, and the fact that I can't cheer for either of those teams).

This Bulls fan will be watching the UK-KU game. It may be different if DRose was playing, but probably not.

NBA. I don't have much emotions invested in either Kentucky or Kansas. I hope Kansas wins simply because I think Coach Cal is the SEC's equivalent of Scott Drew, but I really don't care about the NCAA basketball anymore this season

I should add that those Ken Mauer stats are only mostly correct, and those other two refs have some cherry picked results as well.

Just to entertain and delight.
