Kobe looks fantastic. After sitting out all those games, I thought he'd be a bit rusty. Instead he went 11-24 in game 1 (9-11 from the FT line) and is 8-11 tonight. I will say that he's lucky to be going up against Denver (29th in scoring D). Good squad to face if you need to shake the cobwebs off your offensive game.

Denver blows as a playoff team. Their schtick worked this year because you can run up and down through a 66 games in 120 night schedule and catch teams off guard / tired.

Very similar to the Marion suns who never used to do jack shiat in the playoffs.

Wow! The lakers have been the victim of 4 or 5 terrible calls by this ref here. Danny Crawford actually used an official timeout to stop the game and talk to him

its all been the same ref too. Not sure who he is

The lakers were within 5, pretty sure they were going to go ahead if not for the incredible officiating

Not even sure if this is good or bad for the lakers. I think they prolly want to win the series in 5. 1 game in OKC without artest is ok. 2? Rough

Ah ok. But crawford definitely called an official meeting near the scorers table. But that makes more sense.

Also, mcgee os a +24 and has abused Pau all night. And barnes had missed some wide open easy shots. Blake has been atrocious. Kobe hasnt shot well. Bynum and Sessions have been the best parts for the lakers

This is not the style of game denver wants to play. After the 1st quarter onslaught of speed and 3s, the game has been a banging one.

Faried and Mcgee and a couple other nuggets seem.DETERMINED to play physical ball against the lakers. Wrong move. They should try to be fast breaking every second.
