How has Pop not realized this? Sure Bonner can hit threes, but that's it. We have so many guys that can hit threes, why not take him out and put Big Blair in there? He is just so physical and can dominate Ibaka and Perkins, IMO Blair brings so much more to the table.

My guess is that bonner spreads the floor and pulls ibaka or Perkins away from the paint where they are moat effective.

Actually...eveyone raped Blair. blair might be the.most inept pick and roll defender in the league. He went under every screen and doesnt have the length to remotely contest the shot

So what? It isn't working. I've said it for years now - Bonner is great in the regular season when teams rarely play tough defense. However, in the playoffs, he'll have a hand in his face. I dare you to find footage of Matt Bonner EVER hitting his shot with a hand in his face.

Fans hell. Scott Brooks questioned it. Steve Kerr questioned it. Reggie Miller. It is no mystery here, Blair has performed much better than either Bonner OR Splitter in this series, which is saying something because players usually don't play well when they get used for 5 - 10 minutes in a game.
