Dude forgot to take notes on how the mavs beat the thunder in last years WCF.

fortunately they were able to waltz through a couple of pansies to feel somewhat better about these playoffs.

You guys are idiots. First off, the mavs team last year would have stood no chance against the thunder this year.

Second, those other two teams weren't pansies, well at least LA Clippers weren't. They would have smoked the mavs. The spurs are the second best team in the NBA and just simply lost to the best team in the NBA.

As for Pop, please explain a strategy that would have beaten this thunder team. I'd love to hear it, because IMO the thunder were just simply the better team. It couldn't be more obvious after 6 games. No coaching was going to change that.

Pop is a top 3 coach all time. Suck on it.

You can believe what you want to believe, and I'll believe what I want to believe. All I know is it took the mavs 7 games to knock off a thunder team that wasn't anywhere near as good as they are now. It's only logical to think this years thunder team would have taken them, but since no one can prove it either way, it's a moot point. All I know is the mavs lost to them this year just like the spurs did, but congrats on getting your jollies off that.

Plus, I still want to see specifics on how he got outcoached. No coach is perfect, but he didn't do anything differently than what got them the best record. The thunder were just playing lights out at the right time. I'd really like to know what else he could have realistically done to change the outcome of the series.

Rumor has it Pop got a team starting Danny Green, a 20-year old rookie, and a 36-year old post to the WCF finals. Is that true?

But according to these Mavs fans he doesn't deserve the award because he "slept" through the WCF.

I think Pop did a few questionable things in the last few games. But he clearly needed to do something as OKC had responded well. It didn't help him that a few role players shrunk. He had to shorten his rotation. And those players didn't get it done.

But let's put the blame on Pop! He should have taken notes from the Mavs says the OP. Comical.

Ok, if Pop doesn't deserve it who does?

Maybe Doc Rivers? That's the only other deserving candidate I see right now

Its a regular season award. Postseason has no bearing on it
