Trash move. Just said in post game locker room interviews they couldn't do anything on defense because the whistles kept blowing, giving the thunder free points.

You got outplayed. On both ends. They made clutch shots. You didn't. Pop didn't complain once about the refs.

Retire Duncan, like Charles says. You are done. Your complaint interaction with the refs rivals none in NBA history. Show some class and credit them with outplaying you, not making excuses.

Phil did it mid series to try and swing the favor and play mind games. Kobe did it mid series because he's a dick and was pissed.

Duncan does it after they've been eliminated fairly, and is a classless whiner.

It wasn't a horrible point, Phil and Kobe have said things about the refs every bit as bad as duncan, in some cases worse. Like I said, you are a hypocrite. There is no denying that. Everyone on this board would agree with me when I said that, even lakers fans.

As for Duncan, he had 25 points and 14 rebounds on 11/23 on 36 year old legs. Some of you need some perspective. He didn't play great, but he didn't choke. He just ran into a team he couldn't stay with athletically. Hardly a choke job and hardly playing poorly.

They've blamed them on many occasions, getting down to exact semantics on when and where they were blamed is a bit stupid. All the big time players have blamed them at one point or another. Again, since when did it have to be blaming the series on it? I fail to see a difference in blaming this game or that game. Did Duncan even blame the series, from your OP it sounded more like he was blaming this loss. Just like Kobe and Phil have done. Again, since when did it all of the sudden become someone having to blame the series as opposed to games here and there. I fail to see that much of a difference. I thought I made it clear in my last post.

What's the difference between blaming a series(again, did duncan even technically do that, I really don't know), and simply blaming any particular loss on it? Just doesn't seem to be a difference to me.

I'm not for what Duncan said by any means, but still, get off your high horse and realize Phil, Kobe, and many, many others have done similar things, even if it isn't specifically blaming the series on it.

And as for Duncan being done, that's just stupid. He'll never be the duncan of old, but didn't have average a double double, or damn close to it this series? Didn't he go 25 and 14 tonight? He can't carry a team, but he doesn't need to retire. He's still in the top half of power forwards.

Call it classless all you want. The refs dominated the fourth quarter of that game. They've done it before and they'll do it again. The best you can hope for is to be on the right side of their bets that night.

I'm surprised TD said something but I'm glad he did. It was terrible and they need to be called out. OKC had to make shots but to say it didn't have an impact is myopic at best.
