Would love to get this DWill deal done and keep some ammo for future moves. This is a very in-depth analysis, but a good one...

Same here, DC. I think acquiring Deron is possible [others think anywhere from probably to done-deal], while getting Howard [especially for that package] is pretty far-fetched

I'd be happy if they amnesty Haywood, sign DWill & Javale McGee. Bring back West & Kidd. Hopefully they can get some value for Roddy in a trade for a pick.

Forget about Howard until he proves his back is healed.

Great read. Although I agree that getting Howard and Williams is probably a pipe dream, why not at least go for it (assuming he can rehab his back)? Better to try and fail than to not try at all.

Guess we'll find out just how of a GM Donnie really is over this summer.

I don't know if I've ever read a more in-depth free agency article before. Is this really Cuban writing this?

No, this guy just knows his stuff, especially as it relates to the CBA.

Lord is the guy that figured out how valuable the non-guaranteed final year in Dampier's contract was before anyone. Coined it the DUST chip and had everyone speculating on who the Mavs would trade for at least a year before they finally traded for Tyson Chandler.

Dan are you Mike Fisher's son?
