If Robinson not available at 5 for the Kings they will trade their pick to the Rockets for Lowry and 2 picks.

Cleveland takes Robinson and makes a deal with Charlotte for Kidd Gilcrest. Then the Rox trade with SAC for 5 and take Drummond and the deal for Howard falls through and we end up with the love child of Kwame Brown and Haseem Thabeet.

If Drummond was the goal all along that is still possible. Although if Drummond is not part of a bigger deal shipping him to Orlando that wont be a good look for the Rockets.

This is the worst possible scenario for the Rockets. At this point I hope they just take the three picks they have and play them all year and hope to lose 60 games and end up in the top 5 of the lotto.

Still a chance of trading K-Low and picks to Toronto for #8, depends on how much of a shot they feel they have at getting Nash. They might be smart to at least get Kyle as insurance if that falls through.

First of all, this is a Rockets thread. So I'm not exactly sure why you're here.

Secondly, I fail to see how Morey has failed here. He did everything necessary to put us in a position to get a deal done. You can't force a team to deal with you

Ryan,

He's has been gathering these "assets" for years and has yet to pull off any deal that makes this team substantially better. We are now stuck with THREE mid round picks that aren't going to make this team a playoff team. Teams didn't want to deal with us because we don't have **** for players to offer.

Wait until the Rockets picks have come and gone before saying we haven't made a trade. NBA teams almost always wait until after the picks are made to do the trades.
