That shot is what makes him so dangerous. When he's hitting that (which is a lot more than 20 percent) he's unstoppable, because guys can't play him tight because of his threat to drive to the rim.

Westbrook stops himself as much as or more than the opposing team. He shouldn't be a PG IMO. Too inconsistent, takes too many shots, and not a good decision maker.

Westbrook's midrange jumper is fine. His problem is that usually Durant is a better option and Russell will take shots even after KD has hit a few in a row. He doesn't manage the game well.

They're still a really good team but this move definitely hurts their chances this year. Harden was a huge part of beating the Spurs last year. It seems like everyone forgets how close that series was. His ability to hit 3s and also get into the paint was very important in that series. KMart is a very good scorer but he can be game planned. Plus Harden did a pretty good job playing defense on Ginobili. Martin is not going to have an impact there.

This is another thing that sucks about the Harden trade. Rockets fans who've been absent from this board for a few years now come in and chime in with stuff that's been discussed for the last couple years here.

My god people miss the mark so far on Westbrook. His mid range jumper is fine and he's one of the bestppoint guards in the league.

Van Gundy was talking about it on Knicks/ Heat game. Basically presti didn't have a choice and the rockets got the better end of the deal and hornets are worse after the trade.

Those poor Hornets can't even come out ahead in a trade they weren't involved in.

The Hornets get hosed again...

To respond to the end of last nights questions on who you get to replace Perkins on Howard, I say "anyBODY." You just need a warm body to rack up some fouls. The mirror image of Howard goes beyond the Magic and Lakers, he is horrendous from the line as well. Anybody wanna bet Howard spends time in Boston, Phoenix and Miami as well?

You are right that there isn't a great quality big man out there next year (Petro? Diop?) but, that is not what this conversation is really about. Plenty of teams have won without a stellar Center. What this is about is knowingly downgrading your team before you had to. Presti still had time on the clock, but he put "flexibility" ahead of "quality" at the wrong time.
