San Antonio is going to run away with the overall 1 seed. Already a 3.5 game lead over the Thunder with a ton of home games left. SAS vs. OKC in the WCF again, and the series goes 7 this year. No idea who wins.

Portland has a rough stretch, and won't stay on top of LA, much less make the playoffs.

I don't see LAC falling out of the 3rd spot barring a CP3 injury, plus with the division title, they have a tie breaker on Mem/Den.

Over his last five games, Kobe is averaging 34.8 points on 56.9 percent shooting, 7.2 rebounds and 5.8 assists. The Lakers are 4-1 over this stretch.

I still put the Lakers playoff odds at 40%. The margin for error is so razor thin.

Should the Lakers make the playoffs with 45 wins they will have played .714 basketball since the All Star Break and have a healthy, rested Pau back. Congrats to whoever draws them in the first round.

I've always felt that Utah was going to be the team that the Lakers overtake, and that still might happen, but this GSW team is pretty shaky, and still play the Lakers twice (along with quite a few other WC playoff teams).

Still Utah probably has the tougher schedule.

Houston has the easiest of those 3 teams and is getting in.

Utah won't make it. Not sure why people thought the Lakers would miss the playoffs anyway. I've always thought they'd get in. They have too much talent not to.

Utah has a tough schedule and they are not very good.

Question isn't whether LA will get in but how far up will they climb?
