Not 100% sure what you are specifically referring to, but if referring to the "We don't bluff city", it really is two things.

First, Memphis is called "Bluff City", along with "River City", "Dirtiest City", etc.

Second, at the end of a game in November, Perkins and ZBo got into it, both got ejected, and ZBo wanted to continue it after the ejection, and he made the comment, "I'm done with all that bluffing on the court, because them guys do a lot of bluffing...We don't do no bluffing, man. "

And that's where the phrase, "We don't bluff" and "The we don't bluff city" came from. It was good for the Floppers series, and because it originated against OKC, I guess it fits.

The biggest is flashback discussions about two years ago when Memphis led the series 2-1, but lost that triple overtime thriller to OKC on their way to losing the series in 7 games.


Second, and less popular, the Grizzlies fired an assistant coach, Barry Hecker after the last game. Which is really odd. He is directing all questions to a lawyer.

Why fire an assistant in the middle of a playoff series?

That is really odd.

I do enjoy watching these games. I see Memphis kinda like how I saw St. Louis as an Astros fan growing up. We hated the Cubs, because they were just obnoxious even though they sucked, but St. Louis was always a good rival.

Game time

It's a beautiful night, and i'm sitting in Memphis watching a grizzlies game live.

Unfortunately, it's the Fresno Grizzlies, in town to play AAA Memphis redbirds baseball in front of about 128 fans.

Amazingly, as I bitterly typed that, my 8 year old got a foul ball.

Iowa go to a bar and watch the game.

Need a win tonight. They look disheartened after the loss in Game 3, need to bury them tonight. I still don't think the Grizzlies have played that great so far in this series, I'd like to see them bring it all together tonight.

Iowa, do you live in the downtown area? Just curious, I live out in Germantown.

Game being called very tight. 4 fouls 2 on each team 2.5 minutes in.

Grizz are playing like **** at both ends. Lot of fouls being called against the Grizz too. No FTs in the first Q..

Grizz offense embarrassing right now and are not protecting the defensive glass either...just getting outhustled right now.

Playing very poorly.

And the Thunder have extended the lead to 15 with Durant out of the game.

Grizz are getting their asses handed to them. Pondexter lost Martin on 2 back door cuts in a row, terrible shooting offensively, etc.

Looks like the Grizz didn't learn their lesson from that series a couple years ago. They've come out tonight acting like they are up 3-0 and can afford to give away a game.

Hopefully they can get this thing under 10 before halftime...

Man, Durant is unbelievable. Grizz cut it to 4 and Durant hits 2 straight 3's to push it back to 10...
