Going to love seeing Rondo lose 40 games every year.

The Celts/Nets deal looks like it's really coming to fruition. The deal has reached ownerhsip level. JET would also be going to the Nets. Yes JET will be coached by Jason Kidd.

JKidd is going to have his hands full with all those vets and young stars.

Now if Brooklyn makes this trade AND got Doc to coach then I would have bought into that.

Not so much this.

Boston is going to be in very bad shape for a very long time. I really don't think all of these first rounders are worth it. Any one know if any of the first rounders are from other teams?

Do a Garnett+Terry for Humphries+filler

Then Boston has Pierce and Humphries coming off next year. They have to keep paying Wallace for 3 more years (10mm each), rather than Pierce for 1 more year. And Wallace is basically a poor man's Jeff Green anyway.

Then next year, Boston only has 34mm on the cap.

my guess would be the nets wouldn't give up all those 1st rounders without getting pierce back and letting them shed wallace's remaining 3 years/30MM.

from the C's perspective maybe they went to Pierce and asked him if he'd rather finish his career with a rebuilding team, or go with KG for one last run at a ring (or KG agreeing to waive his NT clause was contingent on PP coming along).

The Nets are targeting Jason Collins. KG has since blocked the trade.

If D12 leaves the Lakers, what will ESPN do on nights the Heat don't play.

The Lakers and Celtics will both be non-playoff teams. Although, the East is bad enough that nothing is guaranteed.

It will be Carmelo overload.

For the teams pursuing D12. How long do you wait on his decision?

I could see him dragging this out until late July. LBJ made "the decision" on July 8th.

If you are a team hoping to get him, do you hold that cap space regardless of how long he is taking?

Personally, I hope he decides in late August.
