That thought Noah was going to be a complete waste of an NBA player?

I didn't think he would be great in the pros, but that was like 7 years ago before I started posting on this site.

There was a pretty extensive thread on here about how terrible he was when he got drafted by the bulls.

I think this thread is severely outdated. Noah has been a good player for awhile now. Why, if you had your heart set on making this thread, did you start it now? You should have made this years ago.

And, if it had taken him 7 years to start playing well, would that even classify as "eating crow" at that point? I just have oh so many questions about this topic

I just now remembered getting into debate back in the day. I was bored and it was slow at work.

I thought he was going to be a flop.

i will NEVER stop making fun of that abortion of a jumpshot of his.

I thought he would be a bust. Gave the impression that he was coasting through college ball. I didn't think he had the hard work gene. Way wrong.

I thought he was just to goofy looking to make it. I should have remembered the lesson of Sam Cassell.

I thought the exact opposite. I thought he'd be a bust because of talent. He's always had a high motor and seemed to be dedicated imo.

All he's ever had was a high motor. He would have been a bust had he come out after his sophomore year. After the Gators won their first title, Noah was being projected as the top overall pick. People were in love with his length and his tenacity. Another year at Florida gave everyone a better look at his overall talent level. Once everyone saw that he was a good player, not a franchise changer, he dropped.

I think he was evaluated accurately upon his actual draft day.

I thought he would be good, but he's pretty damn good. He's fun to watch, but damn he needs a haircut.
