I hate seeing just how far my favorite player has fallen. It's a little like watching MJ at the end. Sad...

Yeah, they are getting old. Manu is 35. He has played a lot of good basketball in his career. Sad !
If he figures out a way to contribute spurs win the last game.
We really needed help from Manu last night. He would have made the difference a few years back.

Manu has been playing Pro Ball for 18 years along with playing on the Argentina Olympic Team. Lots of wear and tear on his body. Pop needs to sit him or greatly reduce his playing time.
Has he struggled like this all season? I haven't seen many Spurs games this year, but his play in the playoffs has been hard to watch. The greatness appears gone.

I like him, but he has to be on the bench sometime. That's the tough part of being a coach, kind of like the whole RG3 deal.
Just earlier today I was telling my nephew Manu needs to retire as we were talking about what to expect in game 5.

My earlier reference to MJ, was not so much about productivity as it was that we always want to remember our sports idles at their peak, not a shell of their former selves.

Pop did a great job encouraging Manu and getting him back into rhythm. Almost everyone on the board yesterday wanted to retire Manu. How things can change.
