I can think of 3.

'05 Detroit-Spurs finally put away a very tough defending champion Pistons team.

'06 Dallas-Spurs have the Mavs all but beaten until Manu's moronic foul and then less remembered missing a fairly easy runner at the very end.

'08 New Orleans-Spurs put away a young and athletic Hornets team on the road that honestly seemed like the better team for much of the series with Paul and West giving them fits.

Remember as well that even with last night's loss the Spurs are 14-3 in closeout games on the road. They have won 2 Titles on the road as well. None of that means they will win of course but to simply dismiss them as "done" is ridiculous.

If I were Pop I would make sure every Spur gets a pair of Lebron's "2 Time Champion" shoes and a schedule of the Miami victory parade too. Those guys may look like they are laid back but they are ferocious competitors.

Very good summary on why the Spurs win. All that & I don't believe Manu has 8 turnovers again. At times, the Heat look like the older team because of the Spurs depth.

The Spurs will show up. I'm more worried about the Heat. They play well at home and when they are at maximum energy it is almost impossible to beat them.

I'm positive that Wade is getting an injection of something right now.
