I'm a fan of the Rockets and Spurs. The Rockets fans on this thread are reaching simplebay level of ******baggery.

The Rockets had a good season, but nothing compared to the Spurs. So there's absolutely zero reason to rag on the Spurs. It's pathetic.

I lived in both cities. Before I ever lived in SA, I was always a fan of the Spurs. How can one not be? They are the best team/organization in all of sports. They play selfishly. They are involved in the community. They aren't thugs. Oh, and they win a ton.

Strike shortened season probably helped over the 82 game season Duncan played this year.

Hakeem averaged 19.1p/9.7r/2.5b/1.4a per 36 minutes in 99, with a PER of 23.1

This year, Duncan averaged 21.3p/11.9r/3.2b/3.2a per 36min with a PER of 24.4 this year at 37 years old.

When Kareem was 37, he averaged 23.7p/8.5r/2.2b/3.4a per 36.

The same Magic that were swept by the Rockets in the NBA Finals.
