I'm going with Gorgui Dieng - C Louisville.

Splitter played like a ***** in the Finals and team will continue with foreign favoritism (as expected - homegrown prima donnas need not apply).

Hopefully they learned from that first draft and don't go Matt Aitch, Jim Burns, Gary Gray, Pat Riley and Jim Thompson.

And yes, at one time, that franchise drafted Pat Riley.

On that Dieng pick, do you think the Spurs are going to move up? I'd love to get Dieng but I don't think he'll be there at 28.

We would have to trade up to get him. Unless someone is willing to take our first rounder and Nando, I don't see that happening.

I'll go ahead and predict Tony Snell from New Mexico.

He'll probably be available still, he's 6'7" and can play 2 or 3, and at the worst he looks like a 3 and D candidate.

A writer for project spurs made the point that Danny Green's trade value is extremely high right now after his finals performance. I wouldn't want to trade him, but he could be a highly coveted asset if we wanted to move into the lottery. Found that kind of interesting.

this - spurs have the rights to 10 guys in europe right now. go get a decent free agent to solve the mixing piece and get duncan his final ring. then start re-loading with some of the euro guys.
