Made of glass physically? Have you ever personally seen what players do to this guy on the court?

I remember the first time I saw that guy at Staples. I could not believe the **** the other team was getting away with. You would end the night in the hospital if someone did to you what they did to this guy on the court every single night.

Bynum is 7 feet tall and he's a big 7 feet. It's hard to carry that weight on that frame and get up and down the court baseline to baseline. There are some great players that have done it. But there's a reason centers like this are a dying breed.

Yes, it's really hard to stay in the league when you don't work to keep your body healthy. Plus it's not a good idea to carry girls on your shoulders instead of rehabbing.

It's a distinction without a difference. He can't stay healthy and it doesn't really matter why.

Bynum suspended for conduct detrimental to team.

I wonder if Bynum is trying to get elsewhere this season since his contract is set up for the Cavs to release him.

quote:
It’s worth noting that if Bynum and the team don’t resolve their differences, it’s more than likely he’ll be unemployed sometime in the next seven days. That’s because Bynum’s contract, a two-year deal worth close to $25 million, is only guaranteed for $6 million through Jan.5. If he’s waived before then, the Cavaliers aren’t required to pay him the remainder of his deal.

Yea that's a lot of the speculation. His contract is only guaranteed for $6MM of the $12MM this year, but there is a cutoff date of Jan 7th. He could be trying to get the Cavs to cut him before Jan 7th, as they would to save $6MM to get a cancer off their team, to force his way onto a winning team. He's playing this perfectly, if that's his angle.

Lots of people out there saying Bynum really doesn't like basketball and that a lot of executives had big concerns about the way he went through his rehab.

Cavs want to trade him, but teams may prefer ot wait until he's waived, knowing he's prone to not trying if he's not on the team he wants to be on, which is apparently the Heat and Clips. If I'm a team with legitimate championship hopes, I wouldn't want that kind of player around.

I really don't think this may be the trade answer for Asik. If Rockets aren't the team he wants to play for, it wouldn't make sense. And if it is a team he'd want to play for, why not just sign him after he gets waived.

Lakers may trade for him. But he won't play a game here.
