Magic Johnson, James Worthy and Kareem are best trio of all time IMO. I'm not a Laker fan, just the best I've seen in my 30 yrs of watching the NBA.

But seriously, as far as player/coach duos, Duncan and Pop have to be near the top, right?

I would think they're up there with Jordan and Phil.

Eff all 3 of them, but especially Duncan, and especially Parker and Ginosebleed. ok, I actually don't hate Manu.

Also, Duncan/Pop have lasted longer than MJ/PJ, so their consistency is more impressive. May not be 6, but it could be 5 before the duo is done.

.4 and Manu's foul have been tough to get over. It took years, and even then I still get upset about it every now and again.

But Game 6 of last year will never go away.

Should be ships in 1999, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2013.

That 06 Mavs Spurs series was probably the most exciting non championship series I've ever watched.

Back to the original topic though, it's pretty amazing what that trio and pop have done in San Antonio. As much anger and hate as I have for them it's impossible not to stand back and respect everything they've accomplished while sticking together.

The Mavs and Spurs have had some pretty epic battles over the past 15 years. It sure will be different when Dirk and the spurs gang finally hang em up. I'm glad I was able to witness everything so far though.

06 and 13, yes, but 04 wouldn't have been an auto title. That pistons team was damn good.

No one was beating that pistons team in 04.

Pistons were better in 05 and Spurs beat em.

That series was stressful to watch. With the defenses on display that series, every point was practically worth two.
