I agree, and I'm a little weirded out by the annoying Direct TV wireless ad with the puppet son and his ugly wires.

(Although slightly aroused by the marionette wife).

I don't know what ended up happening, but at one point, Hibbert and Mahinmi (sp?) had combined for 24 minutes, 0 points, 1 block, and 2 rebounds. And about 5 fouls.

How is that even possible? It seems like with that kind of size you'd actually have to be playing that poorly on purpose.

Saying that, if the Thunder can just get this down to under 20 going into the 4th quarter, they could cut this lead down to a potentially very close game.

Certainly, I've seen the Thunder do that enough in the 4th quarter, so I'm not going to stay up and watch.

Deandre is 1-8 from the FT line. Wow. He might be the worst FT shooter in nba history.

If Jordan is going to shoot that poorly, I don't see why OKC shouldn't send him to the line for the first 10 minutes of the game for game 2.

DeAndre has a way to go to match either Chris Dudley or Ben Wallace.

In 1990, Dudley went 1 for 18 from the free throw line in a game against Indiana. He missed 13 in row at one point.

Through six regular seasons, DeAndre is at 42.5% from the FT line, although he brought that up this year by hitting 42.8%.

Ben Wallace shot 41.4% over 15 seasons, and never cracked 50%. His last two years, he shot 33.3% and 34.0%.

Fun stat fact on Wallace: If he had averaged 75% from the line over the course of his career, he would have scored an additional 900 points,

He's actually a few percentage points worse than Dudley, though I'll give you Wallace. Deandre has a ways to go before he reaches that level of suck. Watching Wallace shoot FTs is a great way to spend twenty mins on YouTube.

I would like nothing more than a crazy hot Clippers team to take out the Thunder... They can then cool off for the west finals that will hopefully include the Spurs.

The clippers can beat the thunder. They've got the athleticism and shooting to pull it off.

Clips will beat the Thunder. And we will beat the Clips like a drum, just like we did in 2012. Maybe not a sweep, but no more than 5 games.

I had the Clippers winning the title before the playoffs (not saying that will happen), simply because I see them having the best frontcourt and best PG. That's a lethal combination in the playoffs. When they click, they're scary good.

Blake Griffin locks legs around Ibaka, Ibaka gets calls for technical.

I think Brooklyn can win a game maybe two but this definitely cemented the thought of them having any realistic chance.

Miami is flying under the radar and getting all their key pieces in sync. They should roll through the East and get to the Finals well rested.

Lol. Great insight on an under-the-radar team.

It sounds a little weird to call them under the radar, but I haven't bothered to turn on a Miami game yet. There's no drama until they start losing because the East is awful. If the Spurs make it to the Finals I'm hoping that Miami is rusty and unused to real competition.

Hate that Miami gets to waltz through the playoffs while the Spurs have to duke it out with good teams. Hopefully it makes Miami complacent.

The good thing is that I think Miami has a worse team than last year and the Spurs have a better team.
