I agree. The Heat really aren't playing good ball. As a Spurs fan, I'd rather see the Heat in the finals at this point. Indiana is definitely more of a complete team.

Wade came up limping at one point last night.

The East is weak. Really weak.

I think Wade's "limp" was a typical show when he hit the deck on the loose ball with George. The 3-day lay off should help the Heat more than the Pacers who are a younger, more physical team - guys like Ray Allen and Wade can get recharged for game 3 in Miami on Saturday.

I agree that Miami would appear to be an easier opponent than Indy since they have zero post presence and the Spurs could score in the paint at will (like they did against OKC in game 1). But with the best player in the game on the court anything can happen. Lebron could average 35-10-10 or something insane and drag his team across the line.

The Spurs would 100% beat Indiana in the finals. The Heat are a lot trickier. Indiana is no match for the Spurs. Their scoring droughts would kill them. Leonard on George, Green on Lance, Splitter on West. Where's the scoring coming from? Parker would torch Hill as we all know.

Just no way would playing the Heat be easier

I expect the heat to take the next two games and go up 3-1.

Indiana blew their chance last night IMO.

Indiana is San Antonio with no offense. I'd love to get that matchup in the finals.

Every single slow motion highlight after the game involved Paul George getting abused on Defense.

He also went 4-16.

Weren't some (media) people talking about him being a top 5 player in the league at the beginning of the season, even #3? Or am I remembering that wrong.

Yeah, George was pumped up as a top 5 player this past offseason. He's the best player on a top 2 team in the lacking East. The east has Lebron and DWade, with Melo on the bad Knicks. Everyone else has either gotten old (all of the Nets), injured (DRose), or is young and developing (Wall, Irving). The West is another story, and the Pacers are lucky they are in the East.

He also has a concussion apparently. The plot thickens.

No depth either. Their bench is just terrible.

As Chuck said it, Pacers are a bunch of wussies.

I'm sticking with my prediction. The home team will win every game for the rest of this series. Miami in 6.

And no way in hell will the Heat be an easy matchup for the Spurs. Allen & Bosh will both raise their games at times if they make the Finals. Battier will probably play outside himself at some point. Birdman is actually playing well a lot lately. The Heat do have some depth to them. And obviously, Lebron. Spurs having homecourt advantage will probably be the difference, though I think they'd have a decent shot at beating Miami in 6. And it could be a lot like last year where almost every game early on was a blowout regardless of who won.

Miami has 5 points with 2:55 left in the 1st quarter. Wow.

This brand of basketball sucks donkey balls. Very difficult to watch after witnessing the surgical Spurs.

And of course Indiana falls apart in the last 2:30 and turns their 14 point lead into 7. Losers.

Yep. Get up by 15, then 3 straight turnovers and it's already back to single digits.

Damn Indiana. 5 straight possessions - all turnovers. How is that even possible? ****. Can't even get up a damn shot.

Indiana's starters got off 1 shot during a 7 possession stretch. Awesome.

Indiana turns a 2 point lead with 2:30 to play into a 7 point deficit at the end of the quarter.

Well done. That kind of futility is hard to pull off.

The Pacers are so inept and mentally weak it's sad if you're a fan of the game.

Miami will probably flip halves in the next game and blow them out by halftime.

Indy will win a pity game at home and game 6 will be a blowout as well.

I think the Heat win in 5. Their defense is amazing to watch. Big ups to Rashard Lewis for playing great defense on West!
