For the zillionth time, it was 90 degrees with no sun. High schoolers w crap S&C training programs go play football in 100+ degree weather in the Texas sun every August. Chug a Gatorade and suck it up

My only point is that 90 with no sun isn't that hot. Unpleasant, yes, but not deal breaker hot.

i agree, if you are acclimated to it. However, if you think lebron works out in the heat, you are kidding yourself. he works out in an air conditioned gym probably 100% of the time. Kids in texas are working out and exercising outside the majority of the time.

Look, I'm a spurs fan and I don't really like lebron, but muscle cramps like that can be absolutely debilitating and its not always as simple as "suck it up." He probably could have stayed on the floor and gutted it out, but likely would have had muscles seizing up with every cut or jump.

You can't play ball with cramping legs. Sometimes if you catch it before it gets bad you can stick it out so long as you don't really push off, but once a leg locks up you're stuck. Every time you get it loosened up and try to move, it seizes right back up. The Spurs would go at him every time and he wouldn't be able to do anything but watch them run past, and he'd be a spot shooter on offense. Imagine a slower Matt Bonner.

There is a lot of science that still isn't proven on how to prevent cramps. What I do know is once they happen, if they are severe, you are done! LeBron did try to suck it up after he cramped the first time... He drove the lane, made a hoop, and the cramps came back even worse. Him missing the rest of the game had nothing to do with him sucking it up.

Then "HEAT" might consider changing their identity to something else. OR, "if they cant stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen".
