How about this.. Kareem was just a better player. It's no knock on Hakeem. I don't care who played with these two guys while they played in the finals etc. Kareem was just a better player.
If I'm selecting a player by position to build a dream team and they are all in their prime. At the #5 position I'm going with Kareem, if he's not available, Shaq... then Hakeem. You can't go wrong with any of the 3. They all had their pros and cons. Kareem simply had the more "pros"
