y'all sure seem to cry a lot.

I'm not one of the criers, but we've been watching the same guys religiously for 17 years. You build up a bit of loyalty and emotion in that amount of time. In Rockets terms, that's 4 years of Hakeem, the Mobley/Franchise years, the Yao/McGrady era, the Brooks/Chuckwagon/Battier/Scola years, and now the Harden/Howard/Parsons era. Imagine that instead of having to switch allegiances and learn to like new players every couple years you had spent the whole time growing more and more appreciative of the same guys. Watching them through the highs and lows. And they are the only game in town.

nothing wrong with tearing up a little bit when a team you've put your heart into finally wins it all. when the mavs finally won it, and I saw dirk hold up the trophy I shed some man tears.

I know damn well that when our Aggies finally do it I won't be able to contain myself.
