Splash Bros draft
1. (1) LeBron James (Cle - SF,PF)
2. (20) Dirk Nowitzki (Dal - PF,C)
3. (21) Nicolas Batum (Por - SG,SF)
4. (40) Deron Williams (Bkn - PG)
5. (41) Brook Lopez (Bkn - C)
6. (60) Trevor Ariza (Hou - SG,SF)
7. (61) Michael Carter-Williams (Phi - PG)
8. (80) Nikola Pekovic (Min - C)
9. (81) Terrence Jones (Hou - SF,PF)
10. (100) Luol Deng (Mia - SF,PF)
11. (101) Tobias Harris (Orl - SF,PF)
12. (120) Kelly Olynyk (Bos - C)
13. (121) Draymond Green (GS - SF)

Pick 1: can't really argue with that.
A+

Pick 2: dirk could be a huge steal or a huge bust. Projected to be 22/7/3, however Carlisle might want to play him less in order to lengthen his career.
Depending on what happens, either a B+ or a C

Pick 3: Bad pick. Projected to have 13/7/6, Splash could have been way better off picking al horford, deandre Jordan, Kobe Bryant, or any other of the other third round picks.
D

Pick 4: another bad pick. Especially with Demar deRozan and Pau gasol still on the clock and projected to have better stats
D-

Pick 5: This is a much better pick. With projected stats nearing Batum and surpassing Williams, Splash found a quality scorer and rebounder who only fell this low because of injury issues. If not for his history Lopez would be a first round or early second round pick, especially in Lionel hollins new system.
B

Pick 6-9: Besides Ariza, these are solid picks. Players available besides Ariza that would've bern better include Jose Calderon and Marcin Gortat. However, combined these players bring a total line of 59/27/11, which is solid, but could have been better considering what was available
C+

Pick 10-13: These are spectacular picks IMO. Deng is a volume shooter and will play a lot of minutes this season. Harris is another volume shooter who will likely get 9 ppg on threes alone, not including the multitude shots he takes. Kelly Does a lot of things well, and in his second year on a young team I think he will get more looks, especially with rookie Marcus smart next to him. Draymond green is more of a place holder, but injuries happen more often on run and gun teams like golden state, giving him some minute potential down the road.
B

Overall: C
Besides his first pick, Splash took huge risks and drafted players early in rounds that make your team. This will come back to haunt him as he will have to rely on above average play from his players to win games.

Grade by position
Point Guards: C -
Wings: B
Bigs: B

I won't review my team until the end, but I would say it is pretty stacked

Feel free to join in the official thread convo. Another draft analysis will come soon and I'm sure there will be updates and trade talk posts (hopefully not all by me, don't really feel like carrying the league news on my back).

Ron Mexico's Draft:
1.(2)Anthony Davis (NO - PF,C)
2.(19)Kyrie Irving (Cle - PG,SG)
3.(22)Andre Drummond (Det - PF,C)
4.(39)Nikola Vucevic (Orl - PF,C)
5.(42)Chandler Parsons (Dal - SF,PF)
6.(59)Jrue Holiday (NO - PG)
7.(62)Marcin Gortat (Was - C)
8.(79)Larry Sanders (Mil - PF,C)
9.(82)Brandon Jennings (Det - PG)
10.(99)Jeff Green (Bos - SG,SF)
11.(102)J.J. Redick (LAC - SG)
12.(119)Channing Frye (Orl - PF,C)
13.(122)Matt Barnes (LAC - SF)

Pick 1: At first I thought that this was a slight over draft considering what else was on the table. But then I looked at Davis' stats, and he is definitely worth umber 2 overall. He is projected to have a 20/10/2 and has potential to be much better.
A

Pick 2: Similar to Dirk, this could be a huge hit or miss pick. Irving is a great fantasy player, but how will he do now next to lbj and kevin love? We will see
A- or C+

Pick 3:
Andre Drummond is a monster rebounder and will give you a solid 20ish fantasy points even on bad nights. The one concern with this pick is how will van gundy use him and greg monroe.
B

Pick 4:
Vucevic is a good pick here since he is the second option on a bad team. And that means lots of shots (albeit bad ones from poor schemes) and lots of rebounds. With an expected line of 14/11/2, this is a good value pick at 4
B+

Pick 5:
Parsons could work out or not. Who knows with his weight and developing chemistry with his new teamates. He is expected to have a good scoring line of 16/5/4, so I'll go ahead and say this is a good value pick
B

Pick 6-9:
This is where Ron drafted his "potential-filled players". Larry Sanders will be playing a full season (hopefully) for the first time in awhile and jrue holiday is back after sitting out last season. Marcin Gortat should be good so long as Nene is out and we'll find out how Jennings' meshes with a lot of young faces.
A-

Pick 10-13:
I don't really like his players besides JJ because none of them really have potential to grow in their systems. 10-13 is where you are supposed to draft the JJs, Danny Greens, and Spencer Hawes of the world.

This scoring system is weird. I'm destroying OWG but our stats are pretty close in some areas

Well, there goes my season. Westbrook is having shoulder problems and is currently in the locker room
