Golic responds to Simmons' comments

tl;dr - Bill Simmons mentioned how he is concerned that LeBron to Cleveland may end up being an Albert Pujols to Anaheim kind of deal - both superstars in their prime who joined a new team and didn't amount to what was expected. Golic went off on his show, saying it was the most ridiculous comment he's ever heard 4 games into a season.

I side with Simmons on this one. Golic's show used a tidbit of what Simmons was talking about and ran with it for their own headline.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was just ESPN being a little WWE and manufacturing drama.

This is why Golic is a ****ing clown. If you read anything about this incident, Simmons states clearly, before the audio clip they use, that "its too early in the season to truly tell, before any radio show hosts take this out of context".

which is exactly what they did.
