Perfect execution...and luck.
I think I remember Acie Law doing that one year. Key is to throw it at the rim as soon as the ref passes you the ball. Everyone isn't paying attention because they expect the shooter to dribble the ball a few times.
May be the oldest trick but it isn't an easy one.
