I've tuned out the past three or so seasons precisely because the Mavericks were decent. But I knew it would amount to nothing. Nothing at all. And it hasn't. I love Dirk and hope he goes somewhere he's comfortable.

Time to nuke this team.

Looks like D-Will is returning on a one-year deal worth $10 mil

And the Rondo deal continues to "pay off" as we re-sign Dwight Powell for 4 years, $37 mil. With a NO TRADE CLAUSE for the final year! Ha!

Could the Mavs pick up Speights, as well?

It's almost like Dirk joining the Warriors, except the Warriors are coming to Dallas, instead.

It would be like signing up to meet the cast of Dukes of Hazzard, and instead of Bo, Luke, and Daisy showing up, Cooter and Enos are the only ones there.

Why would they want to? Barnes is nowhere close to a max player.
So are the Mavs signing him to a max to reach the salary cap floor required by the CBA?
